PREGNANCY TESTING

Collage offers lab-quality pregnancy testing at absolutely no cost.

what will my appointment look like?

  • how long will it take?

    The appointment will be 45 minutes - 1 hour long.

  • can I bring someone with me?

    Absolutely! You can bring whoever you'd like. It's always good to have the support of friends or family, especially during an uncertain time.

  • what will I do when I get there?

    First, we'll need a valid photo ID and you'll fill out a couple of forms. Then you'll provide a urine sample that will be used to run the pregnancy test, so please come with a full bladder.


    During your appointment, you'll have a chance to meet with a patient advocate to share how you're feeling and ask any questions you may have in regards to your possible pregnancy.

  • can I get an ultrasound if my test is positive?

    If you have a positive test performed in our clinic, there's an assessment process that will determine if we can offer an ultrasound, typically at a later date.

  • where's Collage located?

    Kearney: We're on the corner of 2nd Avenue & 30th Street, next to US Bank.

    Grand Island: We're at 822 N. Diers Avenue, west of Sonic.

LIMITED OB ULTRASOUND

Since a pregnancy test is only an indication of pregnancy, an ultrasound is used to confirm if a pregnancy is viable. This means that the pregnancy has developed in the uterus (not ectopic), and there's a heartbeat. It will also let you know exactly how far along you are.


Once a positive pregnancy test is performed at Collage, there’s a brief assessment process that will determine if we can then offer you a limited obstetrical ultrasound at absolutely no cost to you. This is typically done at a later date.


Getting a lab-quality pregnancy test and an ultrasound are two of the first steps you can take in making an informed decision.
