Gonorrhea

I haven’t had vaginal intercourse but I have had oral sex, do I need to get tested for gonorrhea? What are the symptoms for both women & men? How is it spread? Can gonorrhea affect my fertility? If I have gonorrhea and get pregnant, how does that affect my baby? How do I prevent gonorrhea?

If you are wondering what the answers are to some or all of the above questions, please check out what Dr. Michele has to say in the following video. According to the CDC, an estimated 700,000  new cases of gonorrhea are reported in the U.S. each year. Keep in mind that only about half of the cases are reported to the CDC. If you want more information about gonorrhea or other STD’s, head on over to Centers for Disease Control and Infection or The Medical Institute.
